A FREE service to the parents of teens, and for the teens themselves, searching for a driving school in their home area.
Teens, and parents, have enough stresses just preparing to learn to drive, and as professional driving instructors with over 13 years of experience, we can sympathize. Driver Education classes, Driver Training lessons, 50 hours of parental supervision, figuring out what paperwork the insurance company will need, as well as the DMV, can all add up to a frustrating experience.
Part of the job of any reputable school is to assist you in reducing these stresses, and to stand ready to answer your questions and concerns. For that reason, we put up this site, to assist you in finding a school nearby.
The schools listed here are all licensed by the California DMV, which means they have been inspected, instructors have passed criminal background checks and physical examinations, all by the DMV and the California Department of Justice. Please note that there are NO so-called Private High Schools listed. These "entrepeneurs", who have little if any experience in teaching driving, and have not been inspected, passed ANY criminal background checks, and are NOT regulated or APPROVED by either the Department of Education nor the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), are a risk to you, when trying to ensure your teens driving safety.
